The Selectboard of the Town of Hamilton will be conducting a Public Hearing with the Board of Assessors as part of its regular agenda on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Memorial Room at the Hamilton Town Hall. The hearing is required by Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 56, as amended. The subject of the hearing concerns the allocation of the local property tax levy among five property classes, as defined in Section 2-A of M.G.L. Ch. 59, for fiscal year 2024.
