Nomination Papers Now Available for Town and School Positions

Nomination papers for town positions and for the School Committee are now available in the Town Clerk’s office at the Patton Homestead, 650 Asbury St.

Open positions include two seats on the Select Board, three seats on the Planning Board, three seats on the School Committee, one Hamilton seat on the Hamilton-Wenham Library Trustees, one seat on the Board of Assessors, and the position of Town Moderator.

Nomination papers must be returned by Thursday, Feb. 20, at 5 p.m.

Nominations for town positions require 37 certified signatures from Hamilton residents, and School Committee nominations require 40 certified signatures from either Hamilton or Wenham residents. Candidates must pick up nomination papers in person and should call the Clerk’s office in advance to make plans to pick up papers.

The Annual Town Election will be held on Thursday, April 10.
