In observance of Memorial Day, all Town of Hamilton offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 27 at 8 A.M. We remember and honor all who have served. Hamilton’s municipal offices strive to provide advance notice of any closures and recommend checking individual department webpages for the most up-to-date hours of operation and updates. The 2025 Annual Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 26, beginning at 8:30 A.M. at 624 Bay Road. Parade is sponsored and hosted by the A.P. Gardner American Legion Post 194.
Emergency Services
Please note that Police, Fire, and emergency services will remain fully operational and available throughout the Memorial Day weekend.
DPW Update
Hamilton’s trash collection takes place on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. According to the Department of Public Works’ contract with Casella, trash collection will be delayed by one day during holiday weeks. If you are experiencing problems with your trash collection, or are uncertain why a particular item was not taken, please contact Casella at 978-548-4427.
