Fireworks 
The Hamilton Fire Department presents a Fireworks show following the the 12th Annual Block Party (Hosted by the Community House) at Patton Park on Saturday, June 21. Fireworks will begin after dusk. Event questions? Contact the Community House. *Rain Date: Sunday, June 22nd.

Special Town Meeting – July 14
Mark your calendar! A Special Town Meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 14 at 6:30 P.M. at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School. Check-in opens at 5 P.M. All residents are encouraged to attend and participate in key community decisions. 

Stories of Impact: Service in Local Government
Our final Quick Chronicles entry of the season features an interview with David Wagner on civic engagement and open office hours. The series hopes to return in the fall with more stories of public service.

Summer Safety & Recreation
As the season kicks off, the Town encourages everyone to enjoy Hamilton’s outdoor amenities—like the Patton Pool and bike trails—safely. Check out our summer recreation safety tips and local highlights.

Events Around Town
The Patton Homestead Summer Series has officially returned to the Patton Homestead! Keep an eye on the schedule as more events are added.
Plus: Military Service Day is on July 19 from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Hosted by the  American Legion Gardner Post 194.

New Police Chief Swearing-In
Chief Edward Guy will be officially sworn in as Hamilton’s next Police Chief on June 25.

Volunteer on the Conservation Commission
Hamilton is currently seeking new members for the Conservation Commission. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to serve. Meetings are held via Zoom.

E-Waste Collection – June 21
Dispose of your electronics responsibly. Bring your old devices to our E-Waste Collection Day on Saturday, June 21. Details available on the DPW page.

The Council on Aging may be able to assist with transportation to the July 14 Special Town Meeting. Please contact them in advance to schedule a ride.
