The Town of Hamilton is excited to invite residents and families to Public Safety Day, taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Public Safety Building, located at 265 Bay Road.
This free community event offers a unique opportunity for the public to meet and engage with our dedicated Police, Fire, and EMS personnel, and to learn more about the essential equipment and services they provide to keep Hamilton safe.
Highlights of the event include:
- Tours of police cruisers, fire trucks, and ambulances
- Interactive demonstrations and safety education
- The S.A.F.E. (Student Awareness of Fire Education) Trailer – a fun and informative experience for children
- A bouncy house for kids to enjoy
- Giveaways, educational materials, and more
We’re proud to showcase the teamwork and tools that help keep Hamilton safe every day,” said Hamilton Fire Chief Ray Brunet. “This event is not only fun for families and first responders, but also a great way to create informal conversations for kids around safety and preparedness. We find that kids often ask the most interesting and thoughtful questions—it’s a reminder of how curious and engaged they are when given the opportunity. Public Safety Day gives us a chance to connect with our community and build trust from a young age. That connection is a big part of why we do what we do.”
Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend. Bring the family, ask questions, and learn more about how your local first responders serve our town.
