Hamilton is delighted to welcome several new staff members to the Town Offices at the Patton Homestead who bring a diverse breadth of professional experiences to serve residents.

Mark Connors recently joined Hamilton as the new Director of Planning and Development. A New Hampshire native, Connors most recently served as the Planning and Community Development Director for the Town of Stratham, NH where he worked on several major zoning and land use projects including the adoption of a Neighborhood Heritage District, believed to be the first of its kind in the state, approved by voters in 2022. Connors served as the Assistant Planning Director for the Town of Bedford, NH from 2016 to 2021 and previously worked for regional planning agencies in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Quinnipiac University and a Master’s of City & Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah. His office is located in the Patton Homestead and he assumes duties from the retiring director Patrick Reffert, who served Hamilton for more than 10 years. Mark can be reached at [email protected].

Cyndi Farrell, Assistant to the Town Manager/Grants and Communications, previously served as the Director of Public Relations for Gordon College in Wenham. Farrell, a resident of Danvers, has a background in communications, marketing/advertising and higher education that spans over two decades. A graduate of Salem State University and our own Hamilton Wenham Regional, she has degrees in Business Marketing and in Communications. Farrell will have an office at the Patton Homestead in the Town Manager’s Office. She is excited to reconnect to the hometown where she was raised and help strengthen our communication channels. Julie Petipas joins the Treasurer’s Office with a Bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College and a Master’s in Professional Accountancy from Bryant University. Petipas previously worked as a business manager for Cambridge Real Estate Solutions and as the Box Office Manager for the Larcom Theatre and is also proficient in Spanish as a second language. With experience also in banking, in her new role, Petipas will help manage accounts receivables, account payables and billing coordination with our Water Billing Clerk.
