About

The mission of the Town of Hamilton Council on Aging (COA) is to create a friendly and safe community for seniors by providing social services, transportation, education, health, recreation, and leisure-time activities and resources that support their well-being and independence, and to assist seniors by advocating for supportive services which increase their ability to remain independent.

Hamilton’s COA Board consists of seven voting members and two alternates, each serving a three-year term. Board members primarily serve in an advisory role, collaborating with the COA director to set and review policies. While the director oversees the daily operations, board members play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction and ensuring the success of the COA mission.
